An interesting round up as always. Sending good vibes for exam week stress.

I found the yoga article particularly evocative. I used to be quite keen on yoga with a few spells in which I battled with the “noise” surrounding it (as outlined in the article).

There was a lady at my old church who said she had taken yoga veery seriously and went as far as living in a n ashram before she found Jesus. She didn’t want to go into details or relive the experience by retelling but she did say she would encourage people not to practice no matter how benign they think it is.

To be honest, I haven’t quite made up my mind about it but I see more cons than pros.

The Cleverly magazine looks very interesting. Bookmarked for later.

Enjoy the rest of your week and have a wonderful weekend!

    You’re back.

    Receive strength to carry on.

    – I don’t have a fav. My top 3 are Remember the Time, Human Nature and

    – I’ve been hustling to attend a Networking Mixer for Women. Haven’t gotten an invite yet. *sad face*
Saturday is Family Day – we will find a way to have fun.

    – I’m reading Richard Templar’s The Rules of Work. So far, very informative.

It’s good to have you back.

Best wishes with exam week at your side. I’m preparing for an exam too, and frankly not doing too well. Re yoga, I was just about to actually start the practice, but I’m not sure anymore. I’m feeling very ambivalent about it now. Anyway, now that you talked about ice cream, perhaps I’ll include that in my weekend plans too, which consisted of studying and more studying anyway. Haha

    Enjoy your weekend!

    Thursday tidbits is back!
Must confess, I’ve never really been a big fan of MJ but I guess my fave songs of his are ‘Bad’ and ‘Thriller’. One of my fave moments this year was learning the choreography with my friends late into the night (I also have a memory of doing this with you).
I’m not really sure how I feel about yoga- it just doesn’t feel right to me. So I do pilates instead.
Weekend plans involve self care and walks in the park (weather permitting).
I’m currently reading a book (it’s a collection of essays I think) called ‘If You Feel Too Much’ by Jamie Tworkowski. I love it.
I’ve also been listening to Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear. ‘Silent Movies’ is a personal fave.

Human Nature is my favorite! Currently reading Eat, Pray, Love even though I’ve already watched the movie. All the best with exam week! Oh and I’ve found my favorite movie of the entire year: The Judge. It’s such a lovely film. xx

Stumbled upon your blog. Found the article on yoga interesting, I am a Christian and I pray use yoga. To me it is just a stretching exercise, for my core and flexibility. Nothing else involved, you can go as deep as you want as the article suggested, it is relaxing. I love reading books, this month I am reading “The red tent” by Anita Diamant.
