It’s Thursdaaaaay!

Let’s get into it shall we?

  1. How exquisite does my friend Halima look in this video?  you should subscribe to her channel. She also did my wedding makeup. She is so talented.
  2. Hmm this piece of non fiction, Akwaeke’s writing is so vivid! Read.
  3. This excerpt from Mindy’s upcoming book ‘Why not me’ iso good. It’s a long read, on confidence and hard work. I really like her and the book is now on my wish list.
  4. LMAO  this piece on reclaiming the camel toe! Yes we can Ladies!
  5. Online dating apps aren’t really a thing here in Nigeria no? Another long (and interesting) read- On the end of dating. Woah.
  6. I know you’ve seen the editorial for Solange’s most recent collab with Puma. No? Please feast your eyes your eyes on this visual party. It’s delicious. really. Eyeing those Navy Blues.
  7. More importantly, it features wom.en who are innovating in their fields which is just amazing. Every one knows I love Solange, but really she stays blowing my mind. Catch video clips of the women here. So so good.
  8. Good company is food for the soul as is chocolate cake.
  9. It feels nice to have honest conversations, no games no hiding…

That’s all I have for you,

Go out there and love!

Love always,

Sabirah.

Great, great list. Definitely going to check out hat camel toe piece, LOL. And I’m so excited about Mindy’s second book! I hope it’s more honest and less reluctant than the first. Happy Thursday!

That post on Tinder and the “End of Dating” actually breaks my heart…just another way this world needs healing. Sex is more casual than ever before. No meaning to inter-human relations…no intimacy. Just a bunch of guys encouraged to be dicks. I know its not speaking for the whole world but its sad still… *Sigh*

I felt the same way, and as usual, Women get the short end of the stick

The colors in the Solange editorial are so beautiful. They were like, vivid pastels. I feel like that’s an oxymoron, but no other way to describe it. Hahahaha.
