In line with the discussion on food yesterday, I present to you: The Corner.
I fell in love with this cute place after two weeks of being in Bangkok and only wish I had found it sooner. It was the Saturday after we had hit the party scene hard and although I didn’t have a hangover (who still does? Hmph! Lol), my eyes felt like sandpaper and I wanted nothing more than the sweet comfort of bread and eggs.
My friend suggested The Corner and it’s been love ever since.
Their menu is simple, offering intercontinental cuisine- from pasta to sharwarma, breakfast food and a Thai selection as well. The food always came on time, was always delicious and the service was warm and professional. I love the homemade touch some of their dishes had, like a bread basket coming with home made jam. The space was bright and colourful with the option to sit inside or outside. I spent many afternoons eating slowly at The Corner, writing in my journal and reflecting.
On my last evening in Bangkok it was only right that I invited a few friends for one more round of wine, good food and cheer.
If you find yourself in Bangkok, it’s definitely worth the visit.
Do you have a favourite place to eat out. Tell me 🙂
Love always,
Sabirah
