Thursday Tidbits

December 24, 2015

Christmas eve! One more Thursday before 2016, are you ready?

I’m quite excited… so let’s get into it.

  1. What does Success mean to you? Thanks Amanda for sharing this on twitter… A kinder philosophy
  2. Her boyfriend came out as gay– I really enjoyed her insights on the whole situation, I love when a situation I haven’t experienced can bring so much perspective to one I have.
  3. Another thing I love- real connections, friendship. Here’s a list of ways to catch up that don’t include coffee or drinks. revisiting many of these.
  4. How much time do we have left to spend with those we care about- I like the takeaway of this piece and the unusual style it was written in.
  5. Not everything happens for a reason, because there are so many around us grieving, here is how to be better being “there”.
  6. D’aaaaaaaw can you resist the cuteness of these baby bunnies?
  7. Next Thursday will be New Years Eve and I envision my self dancing into the night (dance is a form of worship :D) in a dress like this
  8. Speaking of Dance… ps NSFW
  9. Who is going teach me to make videos like this? (I suppose I should stop spending camera money on travel experiences 0_O). Look at how beautiful my California is, the cinematography is just so beautiful.

I don’t have any grand Christmas plans, I’ll probably cook in the morning then I’m heading out to do some face painting for some kiddos in the afternoon and possibly a party in the evening.

Have a lovely Christmas!

Love always,

Love love the list of ways to spend time with friends. Spending time in your house definitely helps bonding! My friends and I also have a favorite restaurant though where we talk all evening over great food. It’s outdoor and by the ocean. But great list really. Bookmarked it for future reference 😉

    Excellent links, as usual.
Love the list of ways to catch up with friends, I’ve found that walking with friends and shopping with them has really helped us bond.
Also, a group of friends and I now go on holidays together, sometimes driving there so major bonding occurs.
Really like the idea of an article club instead of a book club, everyone is just so busy these days.
Really enjoyed the article on grief, will try to be more careful with my words around people grieving.
That dance video has me contemplating why my body can’t do all these wonderful things.
That dress is cute! And I’m going to a New Year’s Eve party! So excitinggg.

    Merry Christmas!
