Buying Nigerian: Twentysix

September 30, 2017

Are you excited? I’m excited!

LOL. For real, For real.

Excited to be starting the series and excited to be starting with one of my faves!

Twentysix is a brand I’ve just come to adore. I consider myself a friend of the brand now (I even took over their instastories for a weekend which was so much fun.) I’m legit! lol

I first discovered them a couple of years ago. I honestly don’t remember exactly where, but at the time I think they only had circle skirts. In fact I have a circle skirt that everyone thought was from Twentysix way before I purchased anything from them. It was clearly meant to be

Twentysix makes “easy to wear clothing in textures and print” as described on their instagram. Their clothes absolutely fit my lifestyle; I could live in them.

Their lookbooks are gorgeous, I really love the feel… I mean see below. (I own both of those dresses, haha)

The customer service I’ve gotten has always been super courteous. In fact my first order had a dress that didn’t quite fit right and the owner came herself to my house, I tried it on and showed her and she took it back to fix and delivered it back to me at no cost. I mean… can you beat that?

The items are made to order and I’m very pleased with the quality of the clothing, my first purchase was over a year ago and I’ve worn the heck out of those dresses- still as good as new. I also love how multifunctional their clothes are. I have worn Twentysix to work, church, the club and several date nights. I always pack a couple of Twentysix items on vacation. Like I said, they just fit my lifestyle.

Funny when I was curating the the instastories, I ran into a friend at the event and he asked what I was doing. I told him and he said “That totally makes sense, you are so a twentysix girl”. Hahaha highest praise.

I’ve been so pleased with the offerings that since my first purchase I have made more orders, given Twentysix as a present (The items come wrapped in the prettiest print paper and string!) and pretty much just sang their praises everywhere. When I like something I like it hard! (Does that sound weird?).

If you’ve been on the fence or just slightly interested, I hope this post serves as a nudge.

Pssssst- they currently have a sale on, so get in!

    TwentySix is bae!

I think I made my first purchase because of you. Like you, I had seen them around for a while and loved the aesthetic but never fully committed.

Also, with you on customer service. I had a delayed package and they kept me in the loop all through the process of resolving it even when I had said it wasn’t a problem. #Bae

Good to have you back Sab! One minute I was refreshing your blog, the next I saw 4 new posts and I’m done catching up! So yaay. I’ve definitely seen their stuff around and it looks good but shipping out of naija might cost an arm. 😢
